Col 700 | Reviews | My Picks

Had a great time shopping on 2nd June? I hope you had!

Let's see what is in store under Collection 700. We have the work dresses, summer style tops, sleeveless shift dress, embroidered dress, basic tops and the all-time favourites skater dress. For colors, this collection is still focusing on mainly solid, solemn colors for work wear, and light pastel ones for casual attire. To make the designs stand out, you might have notice that the designers put in more effort on the sleeves pattern - flounce sleeves, capped sleeves, and so on.

As soon as the collection was launched, some designs were sold out on the same day. I do not list out all the OOS designs, only selected ones. Most of the OOS designs belong to the casual wear, light colored category. In fact, the series of casual wear this time round is quite... pleasing, I should say. Simple and sleek, not too much fancy prints. I belong to the minimalist group. Anything that flaunts or too fanciful is definitely out of the way for me.

Anyway, didn't manage to lay your hands on these OOS items? Well, let's hope there are back orders for them soon (pray!).

I am pretty surprise that the all-time favourites skater dress and panel dress in block colors did not make a big hit in this collection. I thought the cap-sleeved skater dress would sort of catch the eyes of many and be sold out within the a day. Same goes for the panel dress on the right. A simple dress for work is always nice to have in the wardrobe. Perhaps, it signals that it is the time to make a change in style to our wardrobes. Yeah!

Pretty with Dressabelle

A woman's attire very much depicts her dress sense. We rely on our personal image to create the so-called "first impression" to clinch the top job, or to impress someone. But, with the rising costs of living (not salary), we often find ourselves stucked with the limited choices in the wardrobe. Fred not! We have the saviour - Online boutiques! Handful of them!

People, especially Singaporeans, love cheap and good things. I am one of them. I am sure you are as well. (Hi-5!) I used to be an employed white-collared (not anymore now), and loved to patronise departmental stores for OL attire. Oh my... they were very pleasing to the eyes, but the $$ price tags were even more "pleasing". You get what I mean. So, I turned to shopping for my office wear online. Who says online stuff is not good and is also expensive? Prove them wrong!

Okay, time to stuff you with one of my favourite online boutiques.

Dressabelle is one of my favourite online boutique. Not only does the store offers a wide selection of outfits, from formal to casual to bridal. You name it, they have it. The clothing is so appealing that you would not believe that they can be very, very affordable (ranging from SGD $10 - SGD 40). They even have alteration services, which I think, is great! Women comes in all shapes and sizes, so alteration to our clothing to ensure that they fit is important.

I have made several purchases with Dressabelle for some years now, and so far, is satisfied with their service and quality of clothing. In terms of payment methods, they have a wide range.

The workwear collection is often sleek and clean design. Block colors, solid colors, shift dress, flare dress, printed dress. Simple yet suitable for any work occasions.

Casual wear collection is also popular. As you can see from the above pictures, the styles of the clothing is more inclined to one-piece, and solid colors. Its floral printed dresses are also well-liked by ladies, as they potray a more gentle and softer side of the collection.

Shopping with Dressabelle can be quite addictive, I must admit. Simply because the dresses, tops and bottoms are so pretty. The colors (pastel or solid) and designs are so attractive that I could not help but to just "add to cart". Yes, only at the end of the day then I realise that my cart is so full... and I have to slowly scrutinize to remove some of the items. Love-hate feeling huh...
